Danish Cultural Policy - 2002

The purpose of this publication is to give a short introduction to Danish cultural policy and to detail briefly some of the national institutions, cultural institutes, councils and boards for which the Ministry of Culture is responsible.

Following an introductory chapter on cultural policy in Denmark and a chapter dealing with overall public subsidies to the arts and culture, the individual areas of cultural life in Denmark are dealt with. In each area a list and account is given of arts and cultural institutes in Denmark, which will be helpfull to the reader in finding further information.
